In 2022, as toddlers and as all people do, Messiah began asking a lot of questions. We were pregnant with Sade and trying our best to live and parent abundantly. I find Messiah’s curiosity and life as a continuous invitation to transform. We wrote Look at God together as we lean into being present in our lives and the gratitude we have in our hearts. It’s a reflection and remembering of a season in our life. A intentional recognition and appreciation of family and friends; beautiful people to share life with through necessary simplicities of creation (nature, food, music). And Look at God is an invitation of witnessing how God is present in each of our lives. It’s a practice.
